Advantages of using Galvanised cold-rolled Steelwork for domestic buildings :-
Cost effective: A cold-rolled steel frame building is accurately cut & holed to size while manufacturing therefore next to no on-site wasteage, it is extremely high-strength light gauge steelwork which weighs much less than the equivalent hot-rolled steel therefore less plant & labour intensive for erecting resulting in overall cost savings.
Safe and resistant: A cold-rolled steel frame building is conspicuously more fire resistant than a timber frame construction and is furthermore unaffected by termites, bugs or rodents as well as mould or fungi. It does not have to be treated with chemicals like timber does and as it is well grounded it is also less probable to be impaired by lightning.
Low maintenance: A cold-rolled steel frame building does not age and worsen like timber, precast concrete or brick structures do over time, so as a homeowner you don?t have to concern yourself about ongoing high maintenance. Galvanised cold-formed steel is corrosion resistant, it is strong and steady so no anxieties about distorting with climate changes.
